I like to wear a lot of hats.

  • juggler

I’ve been a juggler for 20 years. There’s nothing really profound to say about juggling other than it is fun and therefore worthwhile. I can’t tap dance so I do this instead. To anyone who has tried either, I promise juggling is much easier.

  • magician

Magic is stupid. To the magician, it’s really hard. It’s really lonely. And you never get any credit for all the work that goes into it….

To the audience, it’s condescending. It makes you feel awkward when you know who it’s done, and stupid when you don’t.

But when it’s really good- when it’s literally unbelievable, it’s the best art we can make. I think that’s why people keep practicing it.

“If Duchamp can make Art out of a urinal, we should be able to make Art out of miracles.

  • clown

My solo clown show “The Circus is Cancelled” won the Ira Eaker Special Achievement Bistro Award for Performer on the Rise in 2018. And that certainly sounds impressive. There’s like… 8 words in that… So there. I am certified funny. I have an engraved piece of glass that says so.
